The Nordic Ideal is well known around the world. Nordic countries are consistently at the top of the list, from happiness to innovation to education. But is it possible for someone not living in that region to reap the benefits of living Nordic principles? Ideals of trust, openness, innovation, sustainability, and tolerance are key to Nordic society. Can they be recreated here? Or is community too big a part of what creates that experience? Follow along as I apply Nordic principles in my native environment to see if the Nordic Ideal is attainable anywhere.
